P+A were members of the design team for a period of 5 years to transform the 100 year-old BC Packers fish processing plant into a new mixed-use community.
Considerable time was spent working with the community to develop a master plan that captures the rich history of the former cannery site and its unique setting along the Fraser River. The final award-winning plan is complete with residential and community uses and includes a public waterfront walkway and park system, with an interpretive sign program, which links into a city-wide system of cycle trails, including the Richmond West Dyke Trail.
